Welcome to my new blog! For the Love of Real Food is my place on the internet to organize and articulate my thoughts on often controversial topics related to health and food. My goal is to do the leg work of sorting out what claims in healthcare and nutrition are well-founded and which are not, and that after reading each post you feel just a little inspired to make a change in your lifestyle for the betterment of your and your family’s overall health.

I am currently in my second year as a Master of Science in Medicine (Community Health) student and I am also¬†also on my way to being designated as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. In researching the topics found on this site I find the information that I use from only reliable, credible sources such as scholarly journals or governmental websites. I aim to present the arguments and hope that with an open mind, you may come to make only informed decisions regarding your and your family’s health.

    Well my dear, you are full of surprises!! I must get you to add my recipe for coconut balls as I have tweaked this recipe from super sweet to deliciously nutritious cookies. Also I am so pleased to see an orange coconut pancake recipe here. Maybe a recipe book is in the making:))) I was in the grocery store today and we have so much food but so little knowledge of food. Keep posting as even I have much to learn in this land of plenty.
